Professional Background

Mediation Philosophy: Mediation is a vital and unparalleled platform for conflict resolution as it empowers all parties to create their own solutions without costly litigation.

Specializations: Roshan specializes in mediating high conflict cases involving domestic/custody, contract/business, landlord/tenant, real property, and juvenile interests.

Training & Education: Professionally trained in basic and domestic mediation through Utah Dispute Resolution, and received her formal mentorship from Nancy McGahey - Director of Utah Dispute Resolution.

Biography: Roshan is a Utah Court Rostered mediator who is fortunate to come to the field with extensive professional knowledge in various professions. She has worked as the director of programs for at-risk youth in school districts in both Iowa and Utah, worked five years as a licensed mortgage specialist in the state of Utah, has 15+ years of experience in landlord/tenant contract issues, and owns two businesses in the state of Utah.

Wanting to become more of an agent of change in society, Roshan received a master's degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in 2010. She subsequently worked for several years as a victim's advocate for the Provo Police Department and then as a witness coordinator for the Utah County Attorney's Office. This extensive work in both civil and criminal cases, combined with her diverse professional background, has given her a unique perspective and skill set which she brings to each mediation, enabling her to work with people from all walks of life and circumstances.
